Talking Heads was established in 1984, over 20 years ago. During this time we have become one of Lincoln's most influential Salons.
Talking Heads started as a small teamed salon, now we work within a large team, consisting of over 20 Creative Stylist's and Technicians, all adding there own individual skills and flare to Hairdressing.
In May 2003, Talking Heads under went a major refurbishment over two floors, this allowed our team and our Clients to experience an enjoyable and relaxing ambience.
We specialise in Creative Cuts and Technical work. We also provide a full Gents Service, with a Dedicated Barbering Team offering classic and modern cuts, with their own inspired colourist.
We are currently working on the opening of our very own Barbering Acadamy by Mary Barrett in Lincoln, 2008
Spring 2007, saw the launch of Sassoon Colour Pallet introduced to Talking Heads, We are the only salon in lincoln to hold the exclusive brand of colour, with a special mix of beautiful colours which include Burnt orange's, chocolate brown's, coopers & ice blondes, blue, violet & Lavender tones, to compliment the catwalk cuts.
In Nov 2004, Talking Heads incorparated White Bits Spray Tanning System, using Sunspa products, within a private booth on the ground floor of the salon.
This service offers a range of techniques through artistic spray methods, with our fully qualified spray technicians. Amazing results can be gained in a little as 15 minutes, we continue to improve the spray system on a yearly basis.
New for 2006, Talking Heads Home Wedding Service: We have specialised stylists working to create modern to contemporary bridal hair. Our aim is to make your special occasion hair as fulfillling for you as possible and will give us the opportunity to celebrate with you. Our packages are tailor made following a full consultation.
We also have trained make-up artists working with Sebastian's Trucco range, which can be incorporated within your package.
We also work with Wella and its product range, from technical colours to prestige products in the System Professional and Sebastian range, as well as Alterna, Therefore we cater for every clients needs.
We are open Tuesday and Wednesday 9.00am until 6.00pm. Thursday we are open late unitl 8.00pm for your convenience. Friday we are open from 9.00am until 6.00pm and Saturday from 8.30am until 4.30pm.
We always open Sunday's throughout December, to cater for our busy times.
We offer 10% discount for students with a valid NUS card on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
